The KS-50 AIS is a professional 1.5m (5’) marine antenna specifically tuned on the AIS frequency (161,975 – 162,025 MHz) to acquire the maximum number of targets/vessels present nearby.
Solid construction with heavy duty fiberglass and brass components, fully foam injected, painted with anti-UV filter to avoid color deterioration, built with waterproof UHF (PL) female termination.
Releasing the lock nut makes the antenna easily removable from its mount, which is particularly useful during winter storage or during transport of the vessel. Standard ferrule 1″ x 14 threads to fit on every type of mount. It matches aesthetically with the VHF antenna model KS-50.
